Reflections by Comrade Fidel |
|
Tuesday, 09 February 2010 |
The Bolivarian Revolution and the Antilles I was fond of History, as much as almost any other kid. And I also liked wars, a sort of culture that society used to sow among boys. All the toys we were given were toy guns. Being a child I was sent to a city where no one ever took me to the movies. Television did not exist then, and in the house where I lived there was no radio. Imagination was my only resort. At my first school as a boarding student I read in wonderment about the Flood and Noah’s Ark. |
The Executive of the Antigua Labour Party (ALP), meeting on Friday night February 5 2010 at 46 North Street, has adopted a resolution which demands that the Baldwin Spencer regime act immediately to stem the rising tide of crime and violence that plagues our society, undermines our security, and places our economy in jeopardy.
