Hyatt Vacation Ownership Renews Affiliation Agreeement with Interval International |

Interval International, a leading provider of vacation services, announced it has renewed its master affiliation with Hyatt Vacation Ownership (HVO). The multi-year agreement extends the relationship first established in 1994 and includes 13 existing resorts, as well as properties developed during the term of the agreement. The HVO collection includes Rocky Mountain ski resorts, Key West beach escapes, and properties in popular vacation destinations such as Sedona, Arizona, and Carmel, California.

RETAILERS WARNED ABOUT SELLING COOKING GAS FOR MORE THAN MORE THE STIPULATED PRICE |

It has been brought to the attention of the Energy Division of the Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Forestry and Fisheries, that some retailers have been selling a 20 lb cylinder of cooking gas above the approved price of $41.74.
Consumers are hereby reminded that since 22nd February, 2008, there has been NO CHANGE in the price of a 20 lb cylinder of cook gas. |

RESULTS OF NATIONAL NUTRITION QUIZ 2008 |

Every year the Grenada Food and Nutrition Council spearheads the staging of a National Nutrition Quiz among secondary schools who follow the Food and Nutrition curriculum. The school from this quiz will represent Grenada at the regional nutrition quiz competition which is conducted by the Caribbean Food and Nutrition Institute (CFNI). The objectives of this quiz are two-fold:
1. To provide opportunity for students to review course work in preparation for the CXC examination
2. To improve the image of Food and Nutritio0n not only in Grenada but also in the region. |
