Many of us will remember
the old concrete garbage
bins at the sides of the
roads some of which are
still around or at least
pieces of them.
What we will probably
remember most about them is
the stench, garbage of all variety
spilling out sometime half
way into the road, stray dogs
having a field day rummaging
in the bins and scattering its
foul smelling contents every
which way.

This message that General manager Mr. Michael Campbell and the Communal Cooperative Credit Union wanted to get out seemed well received at a recent health fair organized by the credit union. Hundreds of Communal members and members of the public at large turned out at the national Insurance Scheme car park on Saturday march, 24 to avail themselves of the wide range of screening and counseling services that were available free of charge. |
