NEW DATE FOR SWEARING IN CEREMONY FOR NEW GOVERNOR GENERAL TO BE ANNOUNCED PDF Print E-mail

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the second has approved the appointment of Mr. Carlyle Arnold Glean to replace Sir Daniel Williams as the next Governor General of Grenada.
 
The royal commission of appointment, which was expected to arrive in Grenada today Tuesday, 18th November, 2008, in anticipation of the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for tomorrow Wednesday 19th November, 2008, has regrettably not arrived.  
The formal swearing-in ceremony of Governor General designate, Mr. Carlyle Arnold Glean, will accordingly take place on a date to be announced shortly.
 
We regret any inconveniences that may have been caused in this regard.
