ATTORNEY GENERAL FILES LAWSUIT AGAINST LOCAL RADIO STATION |

Monday February 19th 2007, St. George’s: The Office of the Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against a local radio station and its owners. The lawsuit which was filed on Friday, is against Andall and Associates, and Spice Media, the operators of 90.1 FM. The lawsuit claims that the radio station owned by the parties named in the suit libelled the Prime Minister and his Office in various broadcast by radio commentator Eddie Frederick. The persons mentioned in the suit have been served notice. The Attorney General is seeking damages and an injunction preventing the station from making similar broadcasts.
