St. George's , Grenada – (Friday, March 30th 2007) – Savvy Grenada is pleased to announce the opening of the new The Victory Bar & Grill II at Port Louis Marina in Lagoon Road. After a few weeks of product and service testing the Victory Bar II is now fully operational. Grenadian Operations Manager Chris Ghita explains "we would like to thank our loyal patrons for all their suggestions and feedback during our trial period, we hope that the changes implemented and suggestions made will improve the standards and service and we look forward to welcoming back our early guests soon". This unique bar with casual barbecue grill, set on the picturesque Port Louis Marina is opened Tuesdays to Sundays from 11am until 11pm. The Victory Bar II provides a spectacularly beautiful setting for that perfectly relaxed lunch time appointment, evening unwind or friendly nighttime gathering.
The Victory Bar & Grill II is the first major development to take place at the Port Louis Marina. It is designed to provide a relaxed, casual service to our Grenadian clientele and the many visitors to our lovely island. The Victory Bar & Grill II will also cater to the many yachts which will visit Port Louis Marina in the coming months. Marina and Communications Manager Danny Donelan says "The Victory Bar & Grill II will make Grenada stand out among other international and regional ports. The uniquely beautiful setting which this place provides will create vivid memories in the minds of our visitors and they will always remember that lunch or that drink they had in Grenada. We see this not only as a Bar and Grill but as a place where Grenada will be marketed." The Victory Bar is synonymous throughout the yachting world as it was the unofficial headquarters for Peter de Savary's Americas Cup challenge based in Newport R.I, U.S.A in 1983, his boat Victory famously sported the bulldog as its logo and its rebirth marks a return to Grenada of the yachting and boating community with the development of Port Louis.
