Friday October 19, 2007, St. George’s; On the 11th October 2007, the United States Drug Administration, Food Safety Inspection Services, announced the recall of all FROZEN POT PIE  products, due to possible contamination causing Salmonella infection. Some of these contaminated FROZEN POT PIE products were marketed to the Caribbean.

The “FROZEN POT PIE” from the following brands; Banquet, Albertson’s, Food Lion, Great Value, Hill Country Fare, Kirkwood, Kroger, Meijer and Western Family, and all varieties including Chicken, Turkey and Beef, should NOT be consumed.

These products can be identified as 7-oz single serving, establishment # “P-9” or Est. 1059 printed on the side of the package for all varieties.

Salmonella infection can cause serious, adverse health consequences or death.
