ZUBLIN DONATES OFFICE BUILDING TO GRENADA NATIONAL TAXI ASSOCIATION PDF Print E-mail

Wednesday November 20th, 2007, St. George’s: Minister responsible for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Culture and the Performing Arts Honourable Dr. Clarice Modeste Curwen, was the guest speaker at the Official Handing over and Dedication Ceremony of an Office Building by Zublin Grenada Limited to the Grenada National Taxi Association.
 
The ceremony which took place on Tuesday 20th November 2007 from 11 pm at the parking facility of the Melville Street Cruise Port St. George’s, was a very significant one since this Tourist season is expected to be a very busy one with an increase of ten new ships.
 
The Minister in her address encouraged the members of the Grenada National Taxi Association to continue to do what is right and good, as they are directly involved in the industry and their services play an integral role in the survival of the industry. She also thanked Zublin for their continued contribution in the development of the country, especially the Tourism industry. She said that this augurs well for the development and smoother operation of the association’s affairs.
 
Also making brief remarks and handing over the keys to the association’s President was Mr. Hendrik van Dijk C.E.O of Grenada Zublin Limited. He said his company is very pleased to be associated with this country and even more so, to be somewhat committed to the developmental process of Grenada’s Tourism product.
 
President of Grenada National Taxi Association promises that the association will do all in its power to keep the building in proper condition, conducive for business purposes and to utilize it to its greatest capacity.
