The Ministry of Social Development informs the general public that the Framework for Parenting Education and Training Courses is now available.
 
The Framework is designed to be used with the Pathways to Parenting Manual, which has been adopted by the National Parenting Programme within the Ministry of Social Development as the standard manual for Parenting Programmes in Grenada.

 
Groups, organizations, churches, schools and individuals that currently conduct or are interested in conducting parenting programs are asked to collect a copy of the framework and training materials at the Ministry of Social Development.
 
According to Coordinator of the National Parenting Programme in the Ministry of Social Development, Mrs. Lindonna Glasgow, the framework and materials will equip stakeholders with the resources to conduct high quality parenting programs as well as to standardize programs in Grenada. The framework targets both parents and potential parents.
 
She said “persons will now be equipped with the knowledge and skills that will allow them to be significant players in the successful implementation of the National Parenting Programme”.
 
Persons who have completed the training will receive a certificate from the Ministry of Social Development and the training institution.
