FIRST LIGHT INSTALLED
Once again the Minister for Health and the NNP Candidate for South St.George has delivered on her promise to the people of South St.George.

Just less than one week ago on the popular Radio Programme NNP Hard Talk hosted by Mr. Ian Edwards, Minister Antoine promised the people of South St. George that the newly built multi Purpose sporting Facility in the Limes Grand Anse will be properly lighted and on Thursday 12th, June this became a reality. The hard Court facility was recently completed to the tune of One Hundred Thousand (EC$100.000) Eastern Caribbean Dollars which will benefit the people of the Limes and surrounding Villages. This is one of the many achievements accomplished by Minister Antoine during the past five years.

Minister Ann David Antoine believes that sport is a major vehicle for Health and well-being, Investment, community togetherness and enhancement of the tourism product. As such, necessary investment and development in this area will continue. Facilities such as playing fields, courts, indoor playing areas and water sports will be upgraded, renovated or established where necessary and possible.

WORKMEN PREPARING TO INSTALL LIGHTS
Ongoing support for established sporting groups, and the establishment of new groups where the need arises, will provide a ready avenue and point of focus for many unattached and disenfranchised persons, and will engender the vital sense of purpose and belonging so many seek. Older members of sporting groups can in turn pass on skills to young children through training exercises and other activities organized at the community level, helping children to build character, tolerance and team spirit and be able to accept failure and appreciate success.

Inter Community, or even inter Constituency, competitions and other events, organized by or coordinated through the Community Based Organizations (CBOs), can serve to bring people together in healthy constructive activities that will have the added benefits of promoting unity, togetherness and peace.
