GRENLEC to list on the ECSE on Tomorrow PDF Print E-mail

Grenada Electricity Services Limited will become the 14th company to list its shares on the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (ECSE) Wednesday July 16, 2008.  The company is the third electric utility in the jurisdiction to do so.


The listing will be marked by a ceremony to be held at GRENADA Grand Beach Resort and representatives of various interest groups and organisations are expected to attend.


They include Senior Government Officials, Shareholders, Members of the Board of Directors, and management and staff of the company.  Officials of FINCOR and the ECSE will also be attending.  


The listing ceremony precedes the Company’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders which starts an hour later.


The shares of the company, which will be available for trading on the ECSE from Thursday, a day later, will be known in the market by the trading symbol, GESL.


A copy of the company’s research report, which was prepared by National Mortgage Finance Company of Dominica, can be obtained from the ECSE’s website, www.ecseonline.com, GRENLEC, or from local licensed broker-dealer, FINCOR.
