John Reid, President and Chief Operating Officer of Columbus Communications Grenada Limited (Flow), today announced the appointment of Mr. Kurleigh Prescod as General Manager.

A graduate of the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Kurleigh also holds a cross-disciplinary Master’s of Science Degree in Telecommunications from the University of Maryland, USA.

Kurleigh has held various senior management positions for both public and private sector organizations in the telecommunications sector in Trinidad and Tobago over the past several years in various disciplines including engineering, regulatory affairs, sales, carrier services and business development, and has most recently served as Senior Manager, Business Development within Flow Trinidad’s operations.

Mr. Prescod will be responsible for executing the Company’s ambitious objectives for growth and strategic development in Grenada. Mr. Reid stated that while the Trinidad operations will be losing a valuable employee, he is pleased that the Grenada team will have a capable and energetic individual leading the group. “We are confident that Kurleigh will successfully oversee the rebuilding of the network, as well as the introduction of Digital Cable TV, Broadband, landline Telephony and numerous business solutions in Grenada”.
