Chubby Launches New Website |

(Trinidad)- Trincity mall’s south atrium was full of laughter and excitement on Saturday, July 12 when Chubby, the popular drink loved by children, launched its new and interactive children’s website.
Describing the achievement as the first for a Caribbean brand, Chubby brand manager, Rae-Ann Clement said they were just as excited as the children with the final product. “We wanted to provide the kids with another opportunity to interact with their favourite brand and this website allows us to do that in a way that is more in keeping with the times and with what our kids are into now,” she explained.
The brightly coloured website is dynamic, fully interactive and children can hear the bubbly Chubby jingle playing in the background. According to Clement, it also offers a range of games where children can use their creative and intellectual abilities to paint, Spot-The-Difference and Seek-and-Find. They can also send Chubby e-cards to friends, invite a friend to sign up and read FAQs specifically for them as well as for their parents.
“We are hoping that it will be a trend and in keeping with what they get from the brand – fun and excitement. It is a family targeted site where the children can spend time with their parents. It addresses, foremost, the need for them to have fun, but there is also an educational component with games like “Add Like Mad”, “Multiplication Station” and “Subtraction Action” as well as a language skills component in the “Label Game”, said Clement.
Upcoming features on the website will be the new 25 per cent less sugar Chubby flavours recently launched, as well as external links to children’s favourite movies, jokes and songs. “We are very much aware of parents’ concerns for their children’s health so we will always be looking for ways to partner with them in this regard. As for our children, who continue to love and look forward to our vast range of flavours, we will always be looking for ways to make them happy,” said stressed.
