The Resource Centre caters to the needs of thirty five (35) blind or visually impaired children. The mission of the Centre is to provide educational support to students with special needs within the regular school system and to collaborate with parents/guardians, professionals and para-professionals in an effort to educate each student according to his/her interests and abilities, thus enabling students to reach their maximum potential and take their place in the social and economic life in their communities.
The Resource Centre for the Blind joins a long list of institutions that have benefitted over the years from Republic Bank’s Power to Make a Difference Programme.
