Monday, December 19^th 2011 – Kingston, Jamaica: Today, the Under-17s WICB Grassroots Cluster Games come to a close with participants from nine Caribbean countries taking part, all part of the West Indies Cricket Board Digicel Grassroots Cricket Programme which is reinvigorating youth cricket across the Caribbean.

Aspiring young cricketers in Grenada, BVI, St. Lucia, Anguilla, St. Vincent, Monserrat, Dominica, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Antigua played friendly games between their communities and clubs, brought together and hosted by the WICB and Digicel. 

Monday, November 21^st 2011 – Kingston, Jamaica: While the 2011 Digicel Kick Start Clinics and Academy have come to an end, the thrill of the beautiful game is still going for two lucky Digicel customers who won an all-expenses paid trip to Sunderland to see the Premier League side face Blackburn Rovers in the Stadium of Light.

The trip, which takes place in December, is the top prize in Digicel’s text-to-win competition, the ‘Road to Sunderland’, which took place last month. Following thousands of entries, Jean Lunicmanm Souffrant and Jean Jocelin Prophete – both from Haiti – were announced as the winners.
